Rosie Home Care is looking for compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our amazing team!
As a PCA, your primary focus will be ensuring that our clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to remain in the comfort of their homes. You’ll follow individualized care plans, promptly report any significant changes, and consistently demonstrate empathy and care during every interaction.
Compensation: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
– Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
– Provide mobility support, including transfers and ambulation assistance.
– Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
– Offer medication reminders to ensure clients stay on schedule.
– Provide companionship and emotional support.
– Document client care accurately and promptly.
– Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
– Run errands as needed.
Requirements:
– Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
– Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and TB test.
– Verification of professional references.
– Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 30 minutes.
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– Strong communication skills in English.
